The venue is located about 500 meters from the site where the Jamsil protest is taking place. Given the high level of public interest, the discussion will also be broadcast live on YouTube.
At the Handball Gymnasium in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, which was used as a ballot counting center during the 9th Nationwide Local Elections, a protest to block the counting center has continued for the second week. In particular, there has been strong condemnation of suffrage violations, especially among the 2030 generation of young people, and some hardline protesters have engaged in deviant acts, including violence. As the protest group has blocked access to the site, the damage suffered by sports organizations that need to use the gymnasium has been increasing. Some protesters have also committed illegal acts, such as forcibly searching athletes' bags.
