Daewoong Pharmaceutical announced on the 19th that it has completed the installation of its artificial intelligence (AI)-based smart bed monitoring system, "thynC," at Jeonnam National University Hospital and Hwasun Jeonnam National University Hospital.
This project, which covers a total of 558 beds (217 beds at Jeonnam National University Hospital and 341 beds at Hwasun Jeonnam National University Hospital), represents the largest thynC installation among national university hospitals. Through this system, key patient vital signs are collected and analyzed in real time, and alerts are immediately sent to medical staff upon detection of abnormalities, enabling faster treatment and emergency response.
Jeonnam National University Hospital, which operates a regional emergency medical center and is responsible for treating critical emergency patients in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions, plans to deploy thynC mainly in wards with high proportions of emergency admissions and critically ill patients, such as cardiology, neurology, and emergency medicine, to enhance its capacity to respond to changes in patient conditions.
