Trump "Expecting Ceasefire on All Fronts Including Hezbollah and Israel"
U.S. President Donald Trump on the 18th (local time) called on pro-Iranian armed groups in the Middle East and Israel to cooperate in follow-up peace negotiations, including those related to nuclear programs.
President Trump stated on Truth Social that day, "We expect a complete ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon, Hezbollah, and Israel."
Article 1 of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) released the previous day specifies, "We declare the immediate and permanent end of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon."
President Trump said, "The United States is committed to peace, and we encourage everyone in the Middle East to uphold their commitments to ensure our negotiations proceed beautifully."
