LNG Gas Leak Near Olympic Park... "No Casualties"
In the vicinity of Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul, a city gas leak led to the temporary closure of roads in the area.
According to the Songpa Fire Station in Seoul, at approximately 2:50 p.m. on June 18, liquefied natural gas (LNG) leaked from a building pipeline in the section between Exit 4 of Hansung Baekje Station on Seoul Subway Line 9 and Bangi Market. Around 130 citizens were evacuated, and traffic was temporarily restricted. However, there were no reports of casualties.

The fire authorities deployed 10 vehicles and 38 personnel to stop the gas leak, and the situation was resolved by 4:24 p.m. Both directions of traffic near Hansung Baekje Station have since returned to normal.
