Two middle school students who stole a delivery motorcycle and drove it without a license in Jeju have been referred to the prosecution.
According to Yonhap News on June 18, the Jeju Western Police Station has referred two teenagers, including a 15-year-old middle school student identified as A, to the prosecution on charges of special theft, special property damage, and violation of the Road Traffic Act (driving without a license).

View original imageThe two are suspected of stealing a delivery motorcycle parked on the roadside in Hwabuk-dong, Jeju City, at around 9 p.m. on June 11. After riding the motorcycle to Nohyeong-dong in Jeju City, they were apprehended by police who responded to a report while the suspects were refueling at a gas station.
An investigation found that A and the other minor used the smart key stored in the delivery box to start the engine and then stole the vehicle.
