NH Investment Introduces First 99% Partial Principal Repayment 'Retirement Pension ELS'
"First Introduction of 99% Partial Principal Repayment Type"
NH Investment & Securities announced on June 18 that it is accepting subscriptions for five new types (No. 58–62) of the 'N2 Retirement Pension Equity-Linked Securities (ELS)' until June 25.
For this new offering, the principal repayment ratios have been subdivided into 99%, 80%, and 60%. The company highlighted that the 99% partial principal repayment retirement pension ELS (No. 58) is being introduced for the first time in the industry.
This ELS is based on Samsung Electronics and SK hynix as underlying assets and does not have a 'knock-in' condition, meaning there will be no significant loss even if the stock price falls below a certain level.
Additionally, even if the underlying assets plunge and the conditions for profit repayment are not met by maturity, 99% of the principal will still be paid. If the conditions are met, a pre-tax annual return of 6.70% is provided, and although the maturity is three years, investors are given early redemption opportunities every six months.
The N2 Retirement Pension ELS can also be invested in through a retirement pension account. Subscriptions from general investors will be accepted until 2:30 p.m. on June 25. The issuance date is June 26.
