Nurturing Practical Talent in Financial Data Analysis Using AI
KB Kookmin Bank announced on June 17 that it is recruiting participants for its youth employment support program, 'KB-Bridge,' targeting young people outside the Seoul metropolitan area who wish to pursue careers in the financial sector. Applications will be accepted until July 19.
'KB-Bridge' is an educational program established to nurture digital finance talents equipped with the skills needed for the financial sector. The program is part of the 'K-New Deal Academy,' which is organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The program is open to unemployed youth aged 15 to 34, with 120 young people from non-metropolitan regions—where opportunities for job-related education are relatively limited—to be selected.
The curriculum is designed to develop both practical skills required in the financial field and AI/data analysis capabilities. Over the course of five months, participants will learn about the financial and digital industry, utilize OA and AI tools, gain foundational knowledge of Python and SQL, apply AI agents, and conduct AI-based data analysis, as well as complete practical projects.
A variety of employment support benefits will also be provided to participants. These include a training allowance of up to 3.75 million won during the program, support for obtaining financial certifications, and additional job preparation programs such as mock interviews, resume and cover letter coaching, special lectures from industry professionals, and networking camps.
