KobioLab to Participate in BIO USA 2026, Seeking Global Collaboration
KobioLab will participate in the "BIO International Convention 2026" (commonly known as BIO USA), which will be held in San Diego, United States, from June 22 to 25.
According to KobioLab on June 17, BIO USA is the world's largest global bio industry event, bringing together over 1,500 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, investment institutions, and research organizations from more than 70 countries. It is a venue where partnering meetings between companies, technology presentations, joint research, and technology transfer discussions take place actively.
At this year's BIO USA, KobioLab plans to present the current status of research and development for its key pipelines and discuss joint research and technology transfer collaborations with global pharmaceutical and biotech companies. In addition, the company intends to seek global partnership opportunities focusing on its next-generation drug delivery system (DDS) technology, known as microbiome-based drug delivery system (mDDS), which utilizes intestinal microorganisms to insert specific genes and enable the in vivo production of therapeutic substances. Through this, KobioLab aims to expand its global technological competitiveness from its established experience in microbiome therapeutics development into new modality areas.
