[Weather] Perceived Temperature to Exceed 31°C... Showers in Some Areas
On Wednesday, June 17, daytime temperatures across the country are expected to exceed 30 degrees Celsius, with the perceived temperature reaching around 31 degrees Celsius at its peak. According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, temperatures will remain higher than the seasonal average (lows of 16 to 19 degrees Celsius, highs of 23 to 29 degrees Celsius) for the time being.

View original imageThe morning lows in major cities are forecast to be 22 degrees Celsius in Seoul, 21 degrees in Incheon, 18 degrees in Chuncheon, 19 degrees in Gangneung, 20 degrees in Daejeon, 20 degrees in Daegu, 21 degrees in Gwangju, 21 degrees in Busan, and 22 degrees in Jeju. The afternoon highs are expected to be 31 degrees in Seoul, 29 degrees in Incheon, 31 degrees in Chuncheon, 27 degrees in Gangneung, 31 degrees in Daejeon, 31 degrees in Daegu, 30 degrees in Gwangju, 27 degrees in Busan, and 27 degrees in Jeju.
Until June 18, 5 to 40 millimeters of showers are expected nationwide, with Jeju Island forecast to receive 10 to 40 millimeters of rain. In areas where showers occur, there may be gusty winds, thunder and lightning, or even hail.
