Kiwoom Securities Experiences MTS Access Error Before Market Open... Issue Resolved Before Pre-Market
On the morning of June 16, a connection error occurred on Kiwoom Securities' mobile trading system (MTS) 'Hero S#', preventing investors from accessing the app. The issue was resolved before the opening of the NextTrade (NXT) pre-market.
According to the financial investment industry on June 16, at around 6 a.m. that morning, users experienced difficulties accessing the Kiwoom Securities MTS Hero S# app, with login screens freezing or error notifications appearing.
In response, Kiwoom Securities issued a notice stating, "Currently, access to Hero S# is not stable," and advised, "Please use other platforms such as Hero 4, Hero SG, or Hero SF."

The error was reportedly resolved before the NXT pre-market opened at 8 a.m. A representative from Kiwoom Securities said, "Due to a server error, some users were unable to log in," and added, "Although the problem was fixed before the NXT market opened, we apologize for the inconvenience caused to investors."
