This project is being pursued as part of the Gyeonggi-do Local Growth Talent Development System (Anchor) project. Its core objective is to provide university students with opportunities to strengthen their practical skills and to revitalize the local economy by supporting small and medium-sized businesses in the province with AI-powered design and marketing solutions.

The project will target a total of 15 small and medium enterprises, small business owners, and commercial districts in Gyeonggi-do, as well as students from three universities: Kyung Hee University, Myongji University, and Hanyang University ERICA Campus.

When participating companies present on-site challenges such as brand aging or gaps in digital marketing, interdisciplinary teams composed of students majoring in design, marketing, and AI will be matched to develop solutions.

The process will be carried out in a systematic four-stage structure: Meetup Day, Matching Day, educational programs, and a competition.

The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will support the discovery of promising small and medium-sized enterprises, while the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency will be responsible for collecting issues faced by small business owners and recruiting eligible companies.

Yongin Special City will identify issues in local neighborhood-type commercial districts and provide on-site, hands-on support.

Choi Seokwon, Deputy Director of the Kyung Hee University RISE Project Group (International), stated, "We will operate the project with substance so that young talents equipped with AI-based design and marketing capabilities can gain valuable experience by solving real-world problems in the local community."
