Yuhan-Kimberly Recruiting University Students for '2026 Green Camp'
Applications Accepted Through Official Website Until July 2
Yuhan-Kimberly announced on the 16th that it is recruiting university students to participate in its forest environment education program, "Keep Korea Green 2026 Green Camp."
The Green Camp, which started in 1988, marks its 38th year this year and is the longest-running forest environment education program in Korea. It is characterized by going beyond simple theoretical education, offering participants hands-on forest experiences and opportunities to learn about and discuss environmental issues in the era of climate crisis.
This year, the Green Camp will be held from July 14 for three days and two nights in the Andong and Uljin areas of North Gyeongsang Province. Participants will follow a three-stage program—Experience, Engage, Empathize—visiting areas damaged by wildfires and sites of ecological restoration to observe forest recovery, and taking part in various activities at award-winning beautiful forests.
In addition, lectures and mentoring sessions with experts in the field of forest environment and environmental NGO activists, as well as group discussions, are planned to help participants develop ideas related to environmental issues. The proposals developed by participants will be exhibited at an exhibition held at Seoul Forest on August 8.
Applications can be submitted individually or in teams of up to four members through the official website until July 2. A total of 80 participants will be selected and organized into 10 groups of 8 members each. Participants will receive a total of 20 million won in activity support funds, and three outstanding teams will be awarded scholarships totaling 4 million won.
