DB Insurance announced on the 16th that it has launched the "AI Fault Determination System Using Black Box Footage."
The "AI Fault Determination System Using Black Box Footage" allows customers to upload black box accident footage along with a description of the accident after accessing a dedicated link received during the accident reporting process. The artificial intelligence (AI) then automatically analyzes the footage and provides the fault determination results and related information.
DB Insurance currently offers AI analysis services for vehicle-to-vehicle accident types and plans to gradually expand the scope of application in the future.
DB Insurance explained that this system goes beyond the simple application of AI technology, as it is significant in that it is a "customer-participatory auto compensation system" where customers can directly participate in the compensation process and provide their input.
