Raonmeta (CEO Lee Soonhyeong), a company specializing in generative AI-based metaverse platforms, announced on the 16th that it has signed a business agreement for "global cooperation on XR-based vocational training content" with the Polish XR content company Dig in Vision.
This partnership aims to target the global vocational training market by combining Raonmeta's AI and virtual convergence training platform "Metademy" with Dig in Vision's industrial site-oriented XR content technology. This marks the first time an overseas company has joined as a Metademy partner, which the company says is also meaningful for expanding the platform's ecosystem.
Dig in Vision specializes in implementing vocational training programs from industrial worksites within XR environments. The company possesses virtual simulators for welding and AI-based learning assessment technology, and is expanding its business into the manufacturing, construction, and vocational training markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
The two companies have agreed to collaborate on building practical training environments utilizing AI and XR technologies amid the worsening global shortage of skilled workers. Through Metademy, Raonmeta will supply Dig in Vision's industry-specialized XR content and develop a global virtual training cooperation model connecting Korea and Europe.
The first area of cooperation is welding education. Welding is a representative industrial job that requires a high level of skill and safety, making repeated training before using actual equipment essential.
Learners can use Dig in Vision’s XR content, equipped with AI-based assessment technology, to conduct repeated practice in environments that closely simulate real-world worksites. In addition, they can systematically address weaknesses by checking both the learning process and results based on data.
Starting with welding, the two companies plan to expand the scope of XR training content to cover the entire manufacturing field, including metal processing, automation facilities, and industrial safety. By combining Raonmeta’s platform operation capabilities with Dig in Vision’s industry-tailored content development technology, they aim to create a training environment that is responsive to real-world demands.
This collaboration is expected to serve as a catalyst for the global platformization of Metademy, going beyond the simple supply of content. Raonmeta's strategy is to strengthen the competitiveness of its platform in the industrial training and vocational education sectors by expanding the AI and virtual convergence training ecosystem through cooperation with various domestic and international content companies.
The number of content and platform partners for Metademy has grown from 11 in 2024 to 40 at present. This nearly fourfold increase, along with the addition of an overseas partner, has established a foundation for Metademy to become a global XR content platform.
Wonseok Yoon, Head of the Metademy Business Division at Raonmeta, said, "Our partnership with Dig in Vision is the first step in expanding Metademy from a domestic virtual training platform into a platform where global XR content converges. We will continue to expand partnerships at home and abroad to set a new standard for AI and metaverse-based practical education."
Radoslaw Gauka, CEO of Dig in Vision, stated, "By collaborating with Raonmeta, we have laid the groundwork to introduce XR content to more diverse education and training markets. We will broaden the scope of our cooperation centered on immersive industrial training content and contribute to the development of practical talent."
