Amuse Introduces 'Afternoon Tea' in Canada
Inspired by Peach Collection and Banana Lip Oil
Reimagined as Dessert and Tea Menu
Collaboration with Canada's Luxury Department Store Holt Renfrew
Amuse, the beauty brand of Shinsegae International, is launching a unique collaboration that reinterprets cosmetics as desserts.
On June 16, Amuse announced that it will operate the 'Amuse Summer Afternoon Tea' at cafes in three major locations of Holt Renfrew, Canada's leading luxury department store, until the end of July.
This event was designed to offer local customers a new way to experience the brand. It is rare for a K-beauty brand to collaborate with a luxury Canadian department store to present an afternoon tea program.
The afternoon tea set was inspired by Amuse's popular products, the 'Peach Collection' and 'Banana Lip Oil.' The brand’s signature product colors and concepts are recreated as desserts such as the 'Banana Lip Gloss Tart,' 'Peach Dome,' and 'Pink Logo Macaron.' The menu also includes items reflecting regional characteristics.
The event will be held at Holt Cafe inside Holt Renfrew in Canada. It will take place sequentially at the Toronto Bloor location (June 11–July 26), Vancouver location (June 12–July 26), and Montreal location (June 13–July 26). During the event period, Amuse plans to expand the brand experience through displays in department store branches, the online mall, and within the restaurant.
Currently, Amuse has a presence in all Holt Renfrew locations and ranks among the top K-beauty makeup brands in terms of sales locally. In addition, the brand is expanding its offline distribution network in Canada by entering KiyoKi, an Asian beauty specialty retail channel.
