Stonebridge Ventures and Naver D2SF Complete 4 Billion Won Pre-Series B Investment in Flco
Flco Raises Total Accumulated Investment to Approximately 11 Billion Won
Stonebridge Ventures and Naver D2SF announced on June 16, 2026, that they have completed a pre-Series B investment of 4 billion won in the sports tech company Flco. Both investment firms are existing investors. With this round, Flco's total accumulated investment has reached approximately 11 billion won.
Flco, a sports intelligence platform provider, integrates and analyzes on-field sports data such as match statistics, physical metrics, training load, and condition data to help manage player growth and team performance based on data. To date, about 1,500 coaches and 12,000 athletes have used the platform cumulatively, and it has been adopted by major Korean professional clubs including Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, Suwon Samsung Bluewings, Suwon FC, and SSG Landers.
In particular, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors achieved a K League 1 championship and reached the Korea Cup final after adopting Flco. Flco is expanding its client base beyond football to top professional teams in baseball, basketball, volleyball, and athletics. The company is also broadening its business areas with solutions such as "Flco Coach" for player resource management, the offline performance center "Flco Gym," and the sports nutrition business "Flco Nutrition."
Flco plans to focus its investment on developing sports-specialized AI, expanding into global markets, and diversifying into more sports disciplines. Within this year, it also aims to launch an Individual Development Plan (IDP) solution, which provides personalized growth roadmaps for athletes by analyzing genome and measurement data to assess nutrition, athletic ability, injury risk, and mental aspects. The company is also in discussions for collaboration with overseas leagues in countries such as Japan and Vietnam.
Yang Sanghwan, Head of Naver D2SF Center, stated, "While the traditional sports data market has focused on individual areas such as video analysis or physical measurements, Flco is building the only 'full coverage AMS' in Korea that encompasses the entire athlete lifecycle, creating the data infrastructure for the sports industry. Having already proven a variety of achievements with domestic professional teams, we have high expectations for its growth potential in the global market going forward."
Lee Jonghyun, Executive Director at Stonebridge Ventures, said, "At the time of the Series A investment, we believed Flco would become an essential service for athletes, coaches, and teams alike, and that assessment quickly became reality. We have witnessed its execution in expanding to baseball, basketball, volleyball, and athletics, the tangible utility of its products in delivering real results for professional clubs, and its growing presence overseas—all of which confirm its global market potential."
