ONE THING Expands Centella Asiatica Lineup, Aiming for 50% Share of Cosmetics Revenue by 2028
On June 16, Aekyung Industrial announced that it has completed the merger by absorption of its subsidiary, ONE THING, in order to strengthen its competitiveness in the skincare business and expand into global markets.
This merger was carried out through board approval without a separate shareholders' meeting, and all procedures were finalized on June 12, the official merger date.
ONE THING is a skincare brand that Aekyung Industrial acquired in 2022.
This merger is part of Aekyung Industrial's growth strategy as it pursues its goal of becoming a "global total beauty company" following its incorporation into Taekwang Group. The company aims to enhance operational efficiency in its skincare business, strengthen brand competitiveness, and establish a foundation for sustainable growth.
Recently, Aekyung Industrial established a new skincare business division within its cosmetics organization and has been focusing on expanding business capabilities by strengthening marketing functions. After the merger, the company plans to reorganize its skincare brand portfolio, including ONE THING, and develop a mid- to long-term growth roadmap.
ONE THING plans to reinforce its position as a global skincare brand by redefining its brand identity and expanding its product lineup to cleansers and creams, centered around its signature Centella Asiatica line.
