UFC Fighter Makes Shocking "Michelle Obama Is a Man" Remark After Victory
Shouts During White House UFC Interview
Conspiracy Theory Popularized in Far-Right Communities
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of American independence, a mixed martial arts (UFC) tournament was held at the White House, where a participant sparked controversy by declaring, "Michelle Obama is a man."
According to local media outlets such as The Daily Beast and TMZ, heavyweight UFC fighter Josh Hokit, 28, made this statement during a post-fight interview after winning at the "UFC Freedom 250" event held at the White House in Washington, D.C. on the 14th (local time).
In an interview with commentator Joe Rogan, Hokit said, "I want to thank President Trump for hosting this event," and added, "There is no one greater than my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ."

At the time, President Donald Trump was watching the match alongside UFC CEO Dana White. Immediately after his victory, Hokit performed an act of placing his own necklace around President Trump's neck.
It is not known in detail how President Trump responded to Hokit's sudden statement. However, CNN reported that President Trump was seen giving a faint smile immediately after the remark.
Hokit's comment echoes a conspiracy theory spread in far-right online communities in the U.S. The claim that former First Lady Michelle Obama is male has never been substantiated, and American fact-checking organizations have repeatedly emphasized that it is a false assertion.
Joe Rogan did not show any particular reaction to Hokit's remark and concluded the interview by saying, "Ladies and gentlemen, Josh Hokit."
Meanwhile, Hokit is known as one of the UFC's notorious "bad boy" characters, often drawing public attention for his antics outside the ring. He has also caused controversy at press conferences by referencing opponents' private lives. Nevertheless, in terms of performance, he is recognized as a promising prospect, recording his 10th UFC win with this victory, and is now considered a strong contender in the heavyweight division.
