Maintaining Continuity of Administrative Services to Minimize Inconvenience for Citizens
On June 15, Jeonnam Province attended the Preparatory Comprehensive Inspection Meeting for the launch of the Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City, presided over by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, to review the progress of major integration tasks and discuss measures to ensure the continuity of public services.
The meeting was attended by Gwangju Metropolitan City, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and other relevant ministries. Participants shared the status of integration efforts by sector and discussed future plans and key issues related to the integration.

In particular, the meeting focused on thoroughly reviewing the following areas: revision of autonomous regulations, improvement of infrastructure such as information systems, integration and temporary suspension guidance for civil service administration, and the unification of the administrative operation system.

Hwang Ki-yeon, Vice Governor for Administrative Affairs of Jeonnam Province, stated, "There are now only two weeks left until the launch of the Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City.
