Woojin Unveils AI-Powered Honeycomb MES at Smart Tech Korea 2026
Woojin unveiled the latest artificial intelligence (AI) analytics features of its Honeycomb Manufacturing Execution System (MES) at the 15th Smart Tech Korea 2026.
According to Woojin on June 15, Smart Tech Korea is the nation’s largest smart industry convergence exhibition, comprising seven specialized showcases: artificial intelligence (AI), big data, robotics, security, logistics, smart factories, and the metaverse.
At this exhibition, Woojin introduced the Honeycomb MES, which enhances the accuracy and reliability of production planning by having AI automatically recommend optimal production plans and explain the basis and alternatives through an AI chatbot specialized for manufacturing. The system is designed so that managers can make immediate decisions on the production floor based on the analyses and alternatives proposed by AI, rather than merely viewing data.
The AI analytics features embedded in Woojin’s Honeycomb MES deliver visible results in areas such as quality cost and total cost reduction, as well as eliminating the risk of delivery delays. By predicting defects in advance and optimizing material usage, it lowers costs at every stage of production and automatically generates executable schedules based on the probability of meeting delivery deadlines, thus improving on-time delivery rates.
Honeycomb, developed by Woojin, is an integrated solution that collects and analyzes equipment, process, and quality data in real time to support core decision-making in manufacturing sites, including production planning, material tracking, performance aggregation, and quality management. It is currently being operated by numerous client companies.

A Woojin representative stated, “The production planning AI and manufacturing-specialized AI chatbot showcased at this exhibition can drive tangible productivity improvements by combining on-site experience with data,” adding, “We will realize manufacturing innovation by planning only feasible schedules and controlling costs and defects throughout the production process using the Honeycomb MES.”
