He went on to say, "There is a clear reason why so many parents are watching True Justice," emphasizing, "Restoring trust within the school community is more important now than ever."
On the same day, he mentioned the proposal by the Democratic Research Institute to establish a "Department for the Protection of Educational Activities" within the Ministry of Education, writing, "As the restoration of teachers' rights is an urgent issue, I look forward to a decisive move by the Ministry of Education."
Previously, the Democratic Research Institute, a think tank affiliated with the Democratic Party of Korea, released a policy briefing proposing the creation of a Department for the Protection of Educational Activities within the Ministry of Education, modeled after the department featured in the drama.
Lee Kyung-Ah, a research fellow at the Democratic Research Institute, explained, "The Department for the Protection of Educational Activities should not be a punitive special unit like in the drama, but rather a state-responsible control tower that centrally manages cases of infringement on educational activities," stressing, "We need to transition to a system where the state and education offices are accountable for such cases."
An Minseok stated, "The Gyeonggi-style Department for the Protection of Teachers' Rights aims to restore the school community so that students enjoy going to school, teachers are respected, and parents feel reassured," and added, "As the governor-elect of Gyeonggi Province Office of Education, I propose a public debate on whether to establish this department within the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education."
