Gyeonggi-do Fire Academy Holds 'Global Training' for Cambodian Firefighters
The Gyeonggi-do Fire Academy is conducting a training program for Cambodian firefighters.
The Gyeonggi-do Fire Academy announced on June 14 that it has invited 15 Cambodian firefighters for a two-week global training program, which has been underway since June 8, to strengthen disaster response and emergency medical service capabilities.
This training is part of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)'s global training project and serves as the second-year program of a three-year course running from 2025 to 2027. Cambodian firefighters, as they did last year, will learn about the Korean disaster response system and emergency medical service operations at the Gyeonggi-do Fire Academy.

The Gyeonggi-do Fire Academy plans to combine theoretical education and practical training to share Korea's firefighting policies and training system.
This program is expected to promote the Korean firefighting education and training system, enhance Cambodia's disaster response capabilities, and expand exchanges and cooperation between the firefighting agencies of both countries.
