Special Ministry of Education Grant of 1.642 Billion KRW Allocated
Full-Scale Renovation of Aging Facilities Set to Begin
National Assembly member Seongbeom Shin (People Power Party, representing Sancheong, Hamyang, Geochang, and Hapcheon) announced on the 12th that a special education grant of 1.642 billion KRW from the Ministry of Education has been allocated for the full renovation of the gymnasium at Hamyang Jeil High School located in Hamyang-eup.
This project is being promoted to improve the aging gymnasium facilities and will include the replacement of windows and doors, installation of new sound-absorbing wall panels, restroom repairs, complete replacement of the wooden flooring, and upgrades to broadcasting equipment and heating and cooling systems.

View original imageThe education authorities plan to commission the design service once the supplementary budget is allocated in August this year, and after completing the design, they aim to begin the main construction in December.
Seongbeom Shin stated, "The school gymnasium is a facility used for students' physical activities and various school events," adding, "With this special grant, we expect the aging facilities to be improved."
The school gymnasium is an important space not only for students' classes and physical activities, but also for community events.
