This program is an online gifted education course open to any student interested in and talented in mathematics, science, or information technology. Twenty-seven university-affiliated gifted science education centers designated by the Ministry of Science and ICT have jointly developed and are operating the program.

Participants will receive education in mathematics, science, and information technology over a total of 30 sessions, conducted from the end of June to early August during the summer vacation period. In addition to video lectures, real-time video classes, assignments, quizzes, and tutoring will be provided, with expert instructors including university professors participating.

All students who complete the course will receive a certificate of completion. Approximately 180 outstanding students will also be given the opportunity to participate in the "Creative Design Camp," a two-day, one-night science camp to be held in September. Participating students will carry out problem-solving projects based on the knowledge and inquiry experience gained from the online course.

University-affiliated gifted science education centers across the country autonomously link the advanced education program with their admission process, awarding additional points to outstanding students when selecting new students for their regular curriculum.

This year, a total of 2,000 students will be recruited, with 667 students selected from each grade. Applications will be accepted on the 15th for first-year middle school students, on the 16th for sixth-grade elementary students, and on the 17th for fifth-grade elementary students. If there are any vacancies by grade, additional applications will be accepted on the 18th.

Applications can be submitted through the Gifted Education Database (GED) website. Students from island and remote areas, as well as towns and villages, will be given priority within 10% of the total recruitment quota.

The Ministry of Science and ICT expects that through this program, more students will have the opportunity to experience high-quality gifted science education regardless of their region or school environment.
