ARKO and the Literature Translation Institute Sign MOU
Collaboration on Literature Week and the Seoul International Writers’ Festival
The Arts Council Korea and the Literature Translation Institute of Korea are establishing a collaborative system that encompasses the support of Korean literary creation, translation, and international dissemination.
The Korea Arts Council announced on the 11th that it signed a business agreement with the Literature Translation Institute of Korea at the Artist's House in Daehakro, Seoul, to promote Korean literature and its globalization.

This agreement was pursued to create a virtuous cycle of support for Korean literature by fostering collaboration between ARKO, which is responsible for supporting the domestic literary creation ecosystem, and the Literature Translation Institute, which oversees translation, publication, and international exchanges.
The two organizations will cooperate on operating ARKO's "Literature Week" and the Institute's "Seoul International Writers’ Festival." The Literature Translation Institute will provide translation support for outstanding works discovered by ARKO, and both organizations will strengthen the domestic and international promotion of Korean writers and their works by utilizing their respective platforms.
