Naeseo Agricultural Wholesale Market Conducts Fire Drill to Ensure Visitor Safety
Joint Public-Private Fire Drill with Wholesale Market Workers
On June 11, the Changwon Agricultural Technology Center in Gyeongnam Special City conducted a joint fire drill with wholesale market workers to ensure swift initial response and the safety of visitors in the event of a fire.
This drill was organized to raise awareness of fire hazards and to prevent large-scale disasters in the event of a fire at the wholesale market, which is a multi-use facility.
A total of 20 participants, including staff from the wholesale market management division, representatives from market corporations, and intermediate wholesalers, took part in the drill, which was conducted in a realistic setting.
The drill focused on testing the initial response system by simulating a fire inside the wholesale market, disseminating information about the fire situation, conducting rapid evacuation exercises, and guiding people to safety.
