General Insurance Association Publishes E-Book of "Consumer Consultation Casebook"
Available for Free at Major Online Bookstores
Including Google Books and Kyobo Bookstore
The General Insurance Association of Korea announced on June 11, 2026, that it has published the "Major Casebook of Consumer Consultations on General Insurance" as an e-book for the first time, in order to help consumers better understand general insurance and address their questions.
This newly published e-book is a digital version of the 6th edition of the consultation casebook, which was originally released in December last year, now available in ePub and webzine formats.
The casebook is organized in a Q&A format, featuring actual consultation cases with high inquiry frequency at each stage of insurance enrollment, maintenance, and claims. Thirteen new cases have been added, focusing on consumer questions and common misconceptions related mainly to auto and long-term insurance, bringing the total to 129 cases.
The association plans to further strengthen its digital-based consumer services with the release of this e-book.
In the future, the association intends to link the consultation board on its website with the e-book data, enabling the development of a self-service system that automatically searches for similar cases when consumers enter questions on the consultation board.
