Dong Yang E&P and Motivelink Establish Joint Venture to Target EV Power Conversion Module Market
Dong Yang E&P, a manufacturer of power and power supply units, announced on the 11th that it had signed a joint venture (JV) business agreement with Motivelink, a company specializing in eco-friendly power conversion solutions.
This joint venture is being established as a strategic collaboration to complement the technological capabilities that both companies possess in the electric vehicle parts market and to expand their product business areas in the future.
Dong Yang E&P will provide its expertise in power conversion, power supply units, and the development and manufacturing of electric vehicle (EV) modules. Motivelink will contribute its technological know-how in electric vehicle electronic components, such as Integrated Charging Control Units (ICCU) and transformers, as well as its global customer references.
The two companies reached a consensus on their business cooperation based on the observation that the global electric vehicle parts market is shifting from a focus on single components to modularization, greater efficiency, and integration. With existing businesses such as mobile phone chargers and TV switch mode power supplies (SMPS) having entered a mature phase, this collaboration is expected to supplement current operations and serve as a catalyst for expanding the range of products applied within the electric vehicle parts supply chain, including modules and circuit components.
