[Today’s New Release] Marlboro Premium Line Launches First in the World in Korea
Korea Philip Morris to Launch
"Marlboro Deep Blend 11 and 23" on June 25
The world's best-selling regular cigarette brand, Marlboro, will launch its new premium line in Korea for the first time globally.
Korea Philip Morris announced on June 11 that it will release “Marlboro Deep Blend 11” and “Marlboro Deep Blend 23” on June 25.
Marlboro Deep Blend 11 and 23 are new products developed to reflect the increasingly segmented product preferences of adult smokers, offering a deep and multidimensional taste and aroma. Based on the Marlboro heritage, each product further enhances its distinct characteristics and premium blend identity.
The numbers “11” and “23” in the product names are inspired by prime numbers, which cannot be divided by any other numbers, symbolizing the differentiated qualities of the Marlboro Deep Blend line. The black color-centric package design also visually reinforces a premium image.
This new product line is offered in two variants to reflect the diverse selection criteria of adult smokers. Marlboro Deep Blend 11 is a regular, capsule-free type, featuring a rich taste and aroma achieved through deep blending. Marlboro Deep Blend 23, on the other hand, contains a capsule, allowing for an additional layer of multidimensional flavor.

Furthermore, for the first time in Marlboro’s history, a black tipping filter and brown paper are used to deliver a new product experience, while an aroma panel on the top of the product helps manage finger odor after use. Both products will be available for the first time worldwide at convenience stores and retailers across Korea starting June 25, with a recommended retail price of 4,800 won each.
