Seoul’s Eunpyeong District (District Mayor Kim Mikyung) has won the grand prize in the “2025 Donghaeng Center Operations District Performance Evaluation,” organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

View original imageAccording to the district on June 11, following its selection as the top district in both 2023 and 2024, this latest grand prize marks Eunpyeong District’s third consecutive year as an outstanding district. The evaluation covered all 25 districts in Seoul, assessing 20 indicators across three categories: general administration, welfare, and health. Eunpyeong District received high marks for its field-oriented welfare administration and for establishing cooperative systems in the welfare and health sectors.
The district has provided resident-centric welfare services, including identifying blind spots in welfare, conducting outreach consultations, and offering integrated welfare counseling, with a focus on field staff at community centers. Additionally, related departments such as the Division of Care and Welfare and the Public Health Center have closely collaborated to operate health screening programs, conduct home visits for households in crisis, and run health improvement programs for seniors, thereby establishing an integrated care system that links welfare and health.
