Trump Reveals "Secret Operation to Support Ships in Hormuz... Over 100 Million Barrels Supplied"
"Iranian Military Defeated, Economy Collapsed"
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on June 10 (local time) that as a result of a covert operation to support the safe passage of civilian vessels in the Strait of Hormuz since last month, the United States was able to supply a large volume of crude oil to the world.
President Trump stated on Truth Social that "last month, I ordered a covert operation to assist oil tankers and other merchant ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz," and revealed this outcome.
He explained, "Today, I am pleased to announce that, as a result of these efforts, more than 100 million barrels of oil have passed through the strait and been supplied to the open market," adding, "More than 200 merchant ships safely navigated the strait."
President Trump also emphasized, "This tremendous success is thanks to the fact that it is the United States, not Iran, controlling the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian military has been defeated, and their economy has collapsed. Iran is finished."
This statement elaborates on what President Trump said earlier that day at a White House event—that "we have been pulling out millions of barrels of oil every night; today is the first time I am announcing it"—by providing more specific factors and details on the volume of oil supplied.

He also noted that due to this oil supply, "oil prices are at the level of 85 to 90 dollars per barrel, not 250 dollars. Once the war is over, (prices) will plummet."
