[Click e-Stock] Robotis Expected to See Explosive Earnings Growth with Uzbekistan Plant Expansion
On June 11, Hyundai Motor Securities initiated coverage on Robotis, setting a target price of 403,000 won and stating that explosive earnings growth is expected due to the expansion of its plant in Uzbekistan.
Dongwook Yoon, a researcher at Hyundai Motor Securities, explained, "Earlier this year, Robotis expanded its new plant in Uzbekistan with an annual actuator capacity of 300,000 units, and the company plans to further expand capacity to over 5 million units by 2031, starting with an additional 200,000 units secured in the fourth quarter of this year."
Yoon added, "In Uzbekistan, the company also plans to actively pursue its data factory business, and the sale of action data is expected to serve as a new growth driver in the software segment."
The company forecast sales of 70 billion won for this year (YoY +79.7%) and operating profit of 5.6 billion won (YoY +68.7%, OPM 8.1%). Aggressive capacity expansion at the Uzbekistan plant is also expected to drive annual sales growth of more than 70% in 2027.

Yoon emphasized, "Robotis has established a lineup ranging from actuators to robotic hands and humanoids, and holds a unique position within the actuator industry."
