[New Product] "Convenient Anytime, Anywhere"... Ottogi Launches Three Varieties of 'Cup Tteokbokki'
Original, Rose, and Hot Spicy Varieties... Featuring the 'Purified Water Cooking Method'
As more consumers are seeking ready-to-eat tteokbokki at convenience stores, a new 'cup tteokbokki' has been launched, offering the convenience of enjoying the dish anytime and anywhere.
On June 10, Ottogi announced the launch of three new 'cup tteokbokki' products, targeting consumers in their teens to thirties who want to enjoy tteokbokki conveniently regardless of time, place, or situation, as well as foreign tourists interested in trying K-tteokbokki.
The cup tteokbokki comes in three varieties: Original, Rose, and Hot Spicy. The Original features a savory fish cake topping and tteokbokki sauce for a spicy and sweet flavor. The Rose variety adds smooth cream powder to the sauce to create the creamy taste of K-rose sauce. The Hot Spicy variant combines savory fish cake topping with a hot spicy sauce, highlighting an addictive spicy flavor.
All three products feature a liquid sauce that soaks deeply into the rice cakes, allowing for a chewy texture that lasts for a long time. As shelf-stable products, they are easy to store and can be enjoyed conveniently in various situations such as travel and camping.

Furthermore, the 'purified water cooking method' has been applied, allowing the product to be prepared using only purified water and a microwave without the need for boiling water. This reduces the risk of burns and allows even young children to cook the product safely.
