Gyeonggi-do to Invest 11.5 Billion Won in Eco-Friendly Agricultural Products Support for Pregnant Women
Gyeonggi-do will continue to implement the "Eco-Friendly Agricultural Products Support Program for Pregnant Women" this year to promote the health of pregnant women and new mothers.
The province plans to allocate a total project budget of 11.5 billion won to provide eco-friendly agricultural products worth 240,000 won per person annually to 48,000 pregnant women and new mothers across 31 cities and counties in Gyeonggi-do.
Eligible recipients are women who are pregnant as of the application date or who have given birth on or after January 1, 2025. Once selected, recipients are required to pay 20% of the cost themselves and will receive safe and fresh eco-friendly agricultural products, such as organic produce, pesticide-free produce, organic processed foods, animal welfare certified products, and antibiotic-free livestock products.
Applications can be submitted through the ‘Ecoemall’ website (www.ecoemall.com) from June 17 to June 30. Applicants may also visit their local administrative welfare center in person to apply.
