Lotte World Mall in Jamsil Strengthens Its Status as a Fashion Destination
Lotte Department Store is introducing the global street fashion brand HUMAN MADE for the first time in the Korean retail industry, aiming to strengthen the fashion competitiveness of Lotte World Mall in Jamsil.
On June 10, Lotte Department Store announced that the official flagship store of HUMAN MADE in Korea will open on the first floor of Lotte World Mall in Jamsil on June 13.
HUMAN MADE is a lifestyle and fashion brand launched in 2010 by NIGO (Tomoaki Nagao), a symbolic figure in Japanese street fashion. The brand is highly popular among the global 2030 generation for its modern reinterpretation of American vintage workwear, military, and sportswear from the 1940s to 1960s.
To celebrate the store opening, Lotte Department Store will unveil an exclusive collection available only at the Jamsil location. The main item is the "Raccoon Animal Collection," which features the raccoon, symbolizing Jamsil. HUMAN MADE has a tradition of launching limited-edition products featuring animal characters representing the region of each new store. At the Jamsil store, a total of nine items, including clothing and goods with raccoon graphics, will be released.
Additionally, Lotte Department Store will exclusively launch a collaboration collection with global artist VERDY. The collection consists of six items, including a work jacket and tote bag, combining VERDY's character "VICK" with the HUMAN MADE signature heart logo.
Lotte World Mall has recently accelerated its efforts to attract global fashion brands. Last month, it opened the first Korean stores of the global bag brand PORTER and running brand Saucony. Previously, at Jamsil Avenuel, it held the exclusive Korea exhibition celebrating the 20th anniversary of the fashion and culture platform HYPEBEAST.
