The largest shareholder of Foodnamoo has changed from Onhill Partners Co., Ltd. to CEO Kim Woojoo. With this change in its largest shareholder, the company plans to strengthen its competitiveness as a healthy food platform and accelerate the expansion of its healthcare business.
On June 9, Foodnamoo announced through a public disclosure that CEO Kim Woojoo has become the largest shareholder. Kim holds 10,151,661 shares, representing a 28.63% stake.
Kim Woojoo majored in Economics and Statistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He accumulated experience in finance and strategy through positions at KB Securities and Deloitte Anjin LLC, among others. Most recently, he was appointed CEO of Foodnamoo, where he has been leading the company’s platform advancement and profit-focused growth strategy.
He cites the membership base of more than 3.4 million users on Rankingdak.com and the company’s platform management capabilities as Foodnamoo’s core strengths. Building on this, he intends to focus on transforming the company into a data analytics-driven healthy food platform. Expanding personalized services using customer consumption data, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing platform competitiveness have been identified as key areas of focus.
Foodnamoo also plans to secure new growth drivers by linking food, wellness, and bio-healthcare. In particular, the company aims to leverage the user data and platform capabilities of Rankingdak.com to strengthen personalized services and establish a sound, profit-oriented growth structure.
A company representative stated, "The change in the largest shareholder to CEO Kim Woojoo provides a more stable and consistent foundation for implementing our medium- to long-term growth strategies.
