Idus Launches World Refugee Day Donation Campaign with UN Refugee Agency
Launching a Goods-Based Participatory Campaign
Backpackr announced on June 9 that its handmade commerce platform, Idus, will hold the second edition of its goods collaboration exhibition with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) on June 20 to mark World Refugee Day, launching a donation campaign in partnership with the organization.
This project reinterprets the official UN Refugee Agency characters "Onduck" and "Ttoto" as handmade works of art, with three artists participating to present a total of four items. The participating artists and works include: ▲ Heemuse (Onduck traditional norigae keyring, Onduck embroidered pouch) ▲ Damandeundang (Onduck and Ttoto keycap and keycap keyring) ▲ Sonyeogamseong Tteugaegongju (Onduck and Ttoto handmade scrubbing sponges).
