Netflix to Produce "Paper Man" Starring Jo Jung-suk, Park Hae-soo, and Soo-hyun
A Crime Drama About a Breadwinner Who Creates Counterfeit Bills
On June 9, Netflix announced that it will produce the original series "Paper Man."
This crime drama follows Cha Myeongjo, a breadwinner working at a knockoff character sticker company, who steps into a dangerous world as he creates the perfect counterfeit bill. The series will be directed by Lee Il-hyeong, known for "Evil Relationship," "A Violent Prosecutor," and "Remember."

Jo Jung-suk will play Cha Myeongjo, a breadwinner battered by the world who awakens to dangerous desires. Park Hae-soo will portray Oh Seung-eop, the chief researcher at the Bank of Korea's counterfeit currency investigation unit. Soo-hyun will take on the role of Go Hye-seok, Myeongjo's wife and an elite judge. The series will be produced by Covenant Pictures and Fine Town Production.
