Jang Doyeon to Host Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival Opening Ceremony for Second Consecutive Year

The Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival announced on June 9 that comedienne Jang Doyeon will host the opening ceremony for the second consecutive year. The opening ceremony will take place on June 18 at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall.
Jang Doyeon said, "As a movie fan, I am grateful," adding, "I will do my best not to let down everyone who worked hard to prepare this film festival."

This year's festival will run for six days until June 23. A total of 1,667 films were submitted, and 44 films advanced to the finals. Director Lee Byung-hun will serve as the head judge, with ten judges including directors Hwang Dong-hyuk, Lee Ok-seop, and Oh Seung-uk. Actors Jung Haein, Choi Sooyoung, Jo Jungseok, Shim Eunkyung, and Lee Minho will join as honorary judges.
