LG CNS Signs Agreement to Introduce Claude Enterprise, Extending to All Group Affiliates
Introducing Claude Across the Company
Expansion Planned to LG Group and External Enterprises
LG CNS announced on June 9 that it has signed an agreement with global artificial intelligence (AI) company Anthropic to introduce "Claude Enterprise." This is an integrated contract that can be applied to all LG Group affiliates, and through this contract, the group aims to accelerate its AI transformation (AX) efforts across all LG entities.
Claude is a widely used enterprise AI model, known for its high-level reasoning capabilities, security, and performance in processing lengthy documents. In particular, it is well-regarded for its features focused on improving enterprise work efficiency, such as building AI agents integrated with internal systems, coding, and collaboration.
Through this agreement, LG CNS will make Claude available to all employees across the company and utilize it in various work areas including development. The company also plans to support the adoption and utilization of Claude by LG Group companies and external partners, further expanding its AX business.
In 2023, LG CNS made an equity investment in Anthropic through LG Technology Ventures. Since then, the company has continued its partnership by providing Claude in a format optimized for Korean corporate clients. LG CNS plans to further enhance its collaboration with Anthropic to advance AX services tailored to enterprise environments.
Taehoon Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of AI Cloud Business at LG CNS, said, "Our collaboration with Anthropic marks an important milestone in establishing an AX innovation model optimized for the domestic corporate environment. By combining LG CNS’s AX capabilities with Anthropic’s AI technology, we will actively support AX innovation for Korean enterprise clients."
Kiyoung Choi, Country Director of Anthropic Korea, stated, "Through our collaboration with LG CNS, we expect that domestic corporate customers will be able to apply safer and more reliable AI in real-world work environments. We will work closely to ensure that Claude establishes itself as an AI platform that supports productivity and work innovation for enterprises."
