This training was initiated in response to the increasing adoption of various AI-based tools in practical work, aiming to equip faculty and staff with the ability to directly utilize these technologies, as well as to realize digital innovation and data-driven administration. The purpose was to enhance administrative efficiency and work accuracy through AI-powered automation, reduce repetitive tasks, maximize overall work processing speed, and foster greater creativity among members.
Shin Jongwoo, Head of the AI Convergence Department and instructor for the training, emphasized the importance of shifting perspectives in the era of AI and led a practical, hands-on course. The training was subdivided by job rank. The team leader course explored the role and identity of managers in the AI era, while the team member course offered practical strategies to boost work competency and develop a personal power brand.
The curriculum included the synergistic use of Gemini and NotebookLM—tools with strong in-house data capabilities recommended for educational institutions—as well as widely applicable tools such as ChatGPT, Claude (noted for its writing capabilities), and Huxe for AI-curated news. The features and practical applications of these core tools in administrative work were introduced. Notably, hands-on sessions were held on using infographics instead of PowerPoint, writing and publishing books with AI, creating music with Gemini Music, and launching YouTube channels. These activities, which encouraged participants to become content creators rather than just consumers and expand their creative horizons, drew significant interest.
The university announced that, through this training, it intends to not only improve the speed and efficiency of administrative work but also enhance staff capabilities in image and video content production to deliver differentiated educational administration services. The results of this training program will be incorporated into staff performance evaluations through the General Affairs Team.
