The academy aimed to provide young people with opportunities to develop the skills and knowledge required by companies in the AI era and to help companies discover thoroughly vetted talent.
The students, selected through an AI competency assessment and coffee chats, spent eight weeks learning about the entire HR process—including recruitment, evaluation, talent development, and organizational culture—as well as practical management skills. In particular, they gained hands-on experience with real-world AI-based HR solutions such as the H-dot recruitment solution and AI competency assessment, both widely adopted by over 1,300 companies in Korea, further sharpening their practical abilities.
This program was operated as a project-based, hands-on course rather than traditional lectures. Students worked on real business assignments—such as HR solution service planning, on- and offline marketing planning, and developing global talent recruitment strategies—under the mentorship of professionals from subsidiaries like Midas IT, Midasin, and Jain Research Institute. The process was iterative, with students defining problems themselves and designing solutions from the customer's perspective to continuously improve their outcomes.
Additionally, the program included 'CSR (Communication-Strategy-Reflection)' training, allowing students to develop key competencies for the AX era, such as collaboration, creativity, and meta-ability.
It is analyzed that this practical, project-based training—centered around HR solutions used by more than 1,300 companies—can serve as a breakthrough in resolving the chronic issue of job mismatches within the industry, going beyond simple job experience.
During the graduation ceremony, students presented the results of their projects, introducing those tailored to their preferred roles and sharing experiences and cases of change gained through the academy, thus concluding their eight-week journey.
On that day, Choi Wonho, CEO of Jain Research Institute, commented, "The three gifts from Midas Group are: 'Gwan,' a new perspective on people, life, management, and HR; 'Gwangye,' the relationships developed through eight weeks of classes and interactions with mentors and peers; and 'Seed,' which will lead to your future growth." He added, "I believe the value experiences of these eight weeks will become seeds for growth," and encouraged, "I hope you will happily solve the equation 'Life = Yourself × The World' through communication, strategy, and reflection."
Song Minjeong, head of planning for xSEED Academy, stated, "Through this program, young participants have acquired the mindset and problem-solving abilities demanded in the workplace, and companies have seen the potential of a new talent-matching model that connects them with vetted young professionals." She continued, "We will continue to provide follow-up support so that youth development leads to successful career entry and talent discovery for companies, rather than ending as a one-off program."
Midas Group plans to recommend xSEED Academy’s first graduates for employment at its affiliates and other leading domestic companies, considering their job fit and growth potential.
