Jensen Huang Tours Yangjae Headquarters Lobby for 30 Minutes
"Hyundai, a Giant and Expert in the Mobility Sector"
Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, visited Hyundai Motor Group's headquarters and stated that the next wave of artificial intelligence (AI) is “mobility and physical AI,” declaring that “now is Hyundai’s time.”

View original imageOn June 8, speaking to Hyundai Motor Group employees at the Yangjae headquarters, Huang said, “The company you work for is one of the world’s top manufacturers, a giant and an expert in the field of mobility.”
He went on to say, “Everything I saw here today deeply impressed me, and everything was original and innovative. Hyundai Motor Group has shown world-class technological capabilities and engineering expertise. You should be proud of this.”
Huang emphasized, “This is truly your time. Everything you have built so far, every area where you have developed expertise, will now be combined with AI. And at that moment, explosive change will occur.”
Euisun Chung, Executive Chair of Hyundai Motor Group, Vice Chair Jaehoon Chang, and Minwoo Park, CEO of 42dot, personally welcomed CEO Huang around 1:30 p.m. that day. As Huang entered the lobby with Executive Chair Chung, employees cheered, and Huang responded to autograph and photo requests himself. He even took out his phone to snap photos of the employees.

View original imageFor about 30 minutes, Huang toured the Hyundai Motor Group lobby, experiencing the company’s mobility and physical AI capabilities. He first viewed Hyundai’s hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, NEXO, and the automated hydrogen charging robot on display at the lobby entrance, followed by Hyundai’s first passenger car, the Pony, and Kia’s three-wheeled vehicle.
He also observed the building’s newly installed facility management robot and security robot, Spot. When Spot said in English, “Welcome to Hyundai Motor Group headquarters. Please present your access card for verification,” Huang replied, “I’ll give you my credit card,” prompting laughter.

Afterward, the two moved to Agora, the plaza in the center of the lobby, to view Hyundai’s mobile robot platform Movex. After seeing Movex freely maneuver its wheels while maintaining balance, Huang commented with interest, “It would be great to apply this technology to off-road vehicles.”
