Jensen Huang Surprises Fans: "Hwasa's 'So Cute' Is Extremely Charming"
Confesses "I Love Hwasa's Music" on "You Quiz"
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, who is currently visiting Korea, appeared on a Korean variety talk show and expressed his admiration as a fan of singer Hwasa.
On June 6, tvN’s "You Quiz on the Block" released a short video of CEO Huang’s appearance on the show through its official social media channels.
In the video, CEO Huang appeared in his signature black leather jacket and livened up the atmosphere by dancing lightly to "GOLDEN," the original soundtrack from the Netflix animation "K-Pop Demon Hunters."
He especially drew attention by showing his deep affection for K-pop and mentioning singer Hwasa. CEO Huang praised her, saying, "I absolutely love Hwasa's music, and she is extremely charming."
He went on to mention Hwasa’s new songs "So Cute" and "Good Goodbye," complimenting her as "an outstanding dancer and an excellent vocalist." MC Yoo Jaeseok responded in surprise, saying, "You even know Hwasa's new songs?" and joked, "Looks like 'So Cute' will become a hit again."
That day, when asked which of Lee Jae-yong, Chairman of Samsung Electronics, Euisun Chung, Executive Chair of Hyundai Motor Group, or Chey Tae-won, Chairman of SK Group, he was closest to, Jensen Huang replied, "That’s an easy question." His answer will be revealed on the main broadcast.
This is the first time that CEO Huang, who is a leading figure in the generative artificial intelligence (AI) revolution and the founder of Nvidia, currently the world’s most valuable company by market capitalization, has appeared on a variety show in Korea or abroad.
