Hyundai Engineering Wins Gas Treatment Facility Contract in Kazakhstan
Hyundai Engineering announced on June 8 that it has received a letter of award for the gas treatment facility project in Kazakhstan.
This project involves constructing a gas treatment facility and auxiliary infrastructure to process 5 billion cubic meters of raw gas annually within the Karachaganak complex, located 1,260 km west of Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Hyundai Engineering will be responsible for engineering and procurement work. The local subsidiary of Italian construction company Saipem will participate as a construction consortium partner.

Hyundai Engineering explained that this achievement is the result of being recognized for its competitive bidding capabilities after successfully completing several large-scale projects in Central Asia, including Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The company stated, "This contract once again demonstrates our capabilities and technological expertise in gas treatment plants in the global market," adding, "Drawing on our accumulated experience in the CIS region, we will successfully complete this project and further solidify our position in the global plant market."
