Woowa Brothers announced on June 8 that applications for the course, "Seocho District and Baemin’s Restaurant Management Academy: AI Marketing for Restaurants That Stand Out," will be accepted until June 22.

This training is part of the "Business Agreement for Strengthening the Competitiveness of the Restaurant Industry in Seocho District," which was signed last year between Seocho District and Baemin Academy.

Seocho District and Baemin collaborated on joint education sessions twice last year. The previous sessions featured hands-on curricula, including AI-enabled marketing and strategies to maximize sales through platform utilization, and received positive responses. The completion rate was recorded at 87%, and the satisfaction score averaged 9.8 out of 10.

Outstanding participants were provided with one-on-one consulting, and among the stores that took part in the consulting, there were cases where orders increased by up to 86% after attending the training. According to an internal survey of graduates, the average number of orders increased by 19.5% after participating in the program compared to before.

This year’s course will focus on the practical application of AI. The program is designed so that participants can learn efficient methods of marketing their restaurants using AI and produce actionable results that can be implemented immediately.

The course is limited to 30 participants and will take place five times, every Monday from June 29 to July 27, at both the Baemin Academy Seoul Center and the Seocho District Office training venue.

The curriculum includes lectures from academic AI experts, as well as Baemin App restaurant owners who have successfully applied AI marketing to their own businesses. Topics will cover everything from real-world AI use cases to how AI-driven transformation will shape the future of the restaurant industry.

Seocho District Mayor Jeon Seongsoo stated, "This course has been thoroughly and diversely structured so that restaurant owners can develop the marketing skills required in the AI era. It includes hands-on training using the latest AI programs, mentoring to share success stories, and special lectures from industry experts. Seocho District will continue to make every effort to provide practical support that energizes local businesses."

Baemin Academy plans to operate an AI-focused curriculum to support restaurant owners. In addition to Seocho District, the academy will continue to collaborate with various local governments to deliver tailored education closely aligned with each region's needs.

Kwon Yongkyu, Head of Baemin Academy at Woowa Brothers, commented, "As AI-based strategies become a major topic in the restaurant industry, many owners are considering them as a means to boost competitiveness. Baemin Academy will continue to develop and collaborate on practical curricula to become a reliable partner for restaurant owners."
