'Hillstate Siheung The Class' Offers Ample Parking Spaces
As the number of households owning multiple vehicles continues to rise, parking space within residential complexes has emerged as a key criterion for evaluating living environments. In response, Hyundai Engineering is introducing 'Hillstate Siheung The Class' in Daeya-dong, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi Province, featuring a generous parking-focused design to fundamentally resolve parking inconveniences for residents.
With the increase in dual-income households and changing lifestyles, car ownership has steadily grown. However, some apartment complexes still cause inconvenience to residents due to insufficient parking space.
In the real estate market, ample parking is now directly linked to an apartment’s premium value. In the past, external factors such as proximity to subway stations or school districts were absolute determinants of housing prices. Recently, however, the ability of a complex to accommodate enough vehicles—directly affecting daily quality of life—has become an equally vital competitive edge. As homebuyers weary of the nightly “parking wars” turn their attention to newly built complexes with comfortable parking environments, complexes with superior parking convenience are being highly valued in the presale market.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s report on vehicle registration status, the cumulative number of registered cars in Korea continues to increase, reflecting the normalization of car ownership among households.
Recently, it has become common for both spouses to own vehicles or for adult children to use cars, making multi-vehicle households increasingly prevalent. As a result, complexes lacking sufficient parking face parking shortages, which adds to residents’ inconvenience.
Amid these trends, Hyundai Engineering’s 'Hillstate Siheung The Class' in Daeya-dong, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi Province, incorporates a spacious parking plan into its design.
Compared to typical apartment complexes, it offers a greater number of parking spaces and includes expanded parking spots for added convenience. This design directly reflects the growing demand from multi-vehicle households.
The underground parking lot is equipped with cameras to reduce blind spots and features a lighting system to enhance energy efficiency.
Additionally, the complex will implement a parking location guidance system, one-pass entry system, parking management system, and emergency bell system for enhanced convenience and security.
'Hillstate Siheung The Class' is located near Siheung Daeya Station on the Seohae Line, enabling access to major areas of Seoul. In the vicinity, Siheung City Hall Station is set to serve the upcoming Wolgot-Pangyo Line and Shinansan Line, while Bucheon Sports Complex Station is planned to accommodate the GTX-B line, further improving accessibility to key business districts.
Daea Elementary School and Daeheung Middle School are within the school district. In the nearby Eungye District, Siheung Science High School, a special-purpose science high school, is under development with the aim of opening soon. A combined educational facility linked to the special-purpose high school is also planned. Because the opening of the complex is expected to coincide with the school’s establishment, a strong educational environment is anticipated.
The area around the complex features large supermarkets, multi-purpose shopping malls, cinemas, hospitals, and other commercial and medical facilities. Residents have access to the infrastructure of adjacent Bucheon and Gwangmyeong living zones. Green spaces such as Soraesan Forest Bath, Eungye Lake Park, and Incheon Grand Park are also nearby.
'Hillstate Siheung The Class' will be established in Daeya-dong, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi Province, and will primarily consist of mid-sized units, which are highly preferred by prospective residents.
