On June 6 (local time), at Muirfield Village Golf Club (par 72, 7,569 yards) in Dublin, Ohio, Kim competed in the final round of the PGA Tour's Memorial Tournament, which had a total purse of 20 million dollars. He recorded one eagle, five birdies, and one bogey, finishing with a 6-under-par 66. With a total score of 5-under-par 283, Kim tied for 10th place. This marks his eighth top-10 finish of the season, following his runner-up performance at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson last month.

He regained momentum with a birdie on the par-4 13th, then climbed the leaderboard with an eagle on the par-5 15th, a birdie on the par-3 16th, and another birdie on the par-4 18th. He relied on a fairway hit rate of 71.43%, a greens-in-regulation rate of 88.89%, and 1.56 putts per hole to power his round.

The tournament victory went to J.T. Poston (USA). Although he was unable to improve his score in the final round, which allowed Ryan Gerard (USA) to catch up and tie at 12-under-par 276, Poston secured the win with a par on the second playoff hole at the 18th. This marks his fourth career PGA Tour victory since the Shriners Children's Open in October 2024, earning him a winner's prize of 4 million dollars (approximately 6.2 billion won).
