Through collaboration between the two companies, they aim to advance gaming experiences by focusing on real-time simulation, sophisticated physics-based computing, and AI-driven interaction technologies. CEO Huang is also scheduled to attend a closed-door meeting on the following day with NC’s AI specialist organization, NC AI, along with domestic robotics and AI startups.
14:14 First Pitch for Doosan Bears and Discussion of Robotics Cooperation with Doosan
Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, embraced Park Jungwon, Chairman of Doosan Group, who took the ceremonial first pitch before batting ahead of the 2026 professional baseball KBO League game between the Kiwoom Heroes and Doosan Bears held at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul on June 7, 2026. 2026.6.7 [Photo by Yonhap News Agency Joint Photography Team]

Wearing his signature navy jumper, he greeted Chairman Park Jungwon, who was waiting for him. CEO Huang took the mound in a Doosan Bears uniform with number 93, signifying Nvidia’s founding year, 1993. Chairman Park wore a uniform with number 96, symbolizing Doosan’s founding year of 1896, and took his turn as the ceremonial batter.
A self-proclaimed chicken enthusiast, Jensen Huang enjoyed BBQ chicken while watching the baseball game. According to the restaurant industry, 113 boxes of Crunch Boneless Cracker chicken were delivered to Nvidia’s group seating area. BBQ is reported to have dispatched its headquarters staff to the site to assist with chicken preparation and service.
Before throwing the first pitch at the Doosan Bears vs. Kiwoom Heroes game at Jamsil Baseball Stadium, CEO Huang also had a separate conversation with Chairman Park. Chairman Park personally welcomed CEO Huang at the central entrance and guided him to a reception area set up on the second floor of the stadium. It is reported that the two companies discussed expanding cooperation in areas such as physical AI, which serves as a convergence point for artificial intelligence.
After the game, CEO Huang responded to reporters’ questions about his conversation with Chairman Park, saying, "We talked about the Doosan Bears. We discussed how they are performing well this season and how they have won many championships. We also talked about my pitching." When asked about his impression of the first pitch, he laughed and said, "It was a really terrible pitch. It was awful." He joked, "The ball went straight toward Chairman Park. It nearly hit him."
When asked about potential areas of cooperation with Doosan, CEO Huang replied, "Robotics," signaling the possibility of expanded partnership. He praised Korea, stating, "There is a lot of robotics activity here. Korea excels in software and AI, and its manufacturing capabilities are also outstanding." He added, "The intersection of AI and manufacturing is robotics. There are great opportunities in that field."
Doosan is regarded as a major partner for Nvidia in the field of physical AI, which Nvidia is fostering as a future growth engine. Doosan possesses vast amounts of manufacturing site data across its robotics (Doosan Robotics), construction equipment (Doosan Bobcat), and power device (Doosan Enerbility) businesses, making it well-positioned to provide optimal data for applying Nvidia’s physical AI technologies in real industrial environments.

Here, he reunited with Chey Tae-won, Chairman of SK Group, just two days after their previous 'brotherly gathering' over pork belly and soju at a restaurant in Mapo-gu, Seoul on June 5, promising a strengthened AI alliance. CEO Huang arrived first, signing autographs for citizens, and was later joined by Chairman Chey. The two greeted each other warmly, sat down, and toasted with draft beer. They were also seen giving each other a high-five during the gathering.
CEO Huang wore the same Doosan Bears uniform from the first pitch to the dinner. On entering the restaurant, he also signed a uniform for a young citizen who requested it.
The gathering with Chairman Chey drew attention as it came just two days after their previous meeting and took place at the same venue as last October’s famous 'Kkanbu Gathering' with Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung. It is reported that this meeting was initiated at Nvidia’s suggestion.
In attendance were Nohjeong Kwak, President of SK hynix; Juseon Kim, President in charge of AI infrastructure at SK hynix; Jaehun Jeong, President of SK Telecom; and Seokgeun Jeong, Head of SK Telecom’s AI CIC and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). From the Nvidia side, CEO Huang’s wife Lori Huang and their eldest daughter, Madison Huang, Senior Director of Omniverse & Robotics Product Marketing at Nvidia, also participated.

Chairman Chey joined him to distribute chicken to citizens as well. Meanwhile, President Kwak handed out HBM snacks, to which CEO Huang, echoing his remarks from the June 5 meeting, said, "I want more HBM," drawing laughter from the crowd.
During the dinner, CEO Huang responded to questions from reporters. When asked about collaboration with SK Group, he said, "We achieved truly remarkable results with SK hynix this year. We are preparing for very significant growth in the second half of this year and next year."
According to both companies, Nvidia and SK Group plan to announce their cooperation plans at a media briefing to be held at 8:30 a.m. on June 8 at the SK Group headquarters in Seorin-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
CEO Huang particularly suggested the possibility of semiconductor collaboration with SK hynix. He said, "We have introduced the innovative Vera CPU, which is expected to use SK hynix DRAM," adding, "We are collaborating across a wide range of industries, from AI supercomputers to CPUs, new PCs, and robotics." He stressed that he visited Korea to plan with SK Group and that some announcements will be made on June 8.
He also mentioned the possibility of cooperation with domestic telecommunications companies such as SK Telecom. Industry sources expect that, following this gathering, there will be discussions on expanding AI collaboration with SK Telecom, which has been building digital twins using Nvidia’s platform. On this day, CEO Huang stated, "In the telecommunications sector, we want to make more active use of AI supercomputers. Today’s communication networks are only for data transmission (in bits), but in the future, they will also be used for AI." He continued, "We are having many discussions and hope to reinvent communication networks for the AI era."
Meanwhile, CEO Huang also announced a planned meeting on June 8 with Young-Hyun Jeon, CEO and President of Samsung Electronics and Head of the Device Solutions (DS) Division.
