When asked by reporters, "Are you meeting the former vice chairman of Samsung tomorrow?" he replied, "Yes."
However, regarding whether he would be meeting Lee Jae-yong, Chairman of Samsung Electronics, during this visit to Korea, Huang stated, "He recently came to see me in California, and we had a wonderful dinner together," indicating that a meeting would not take place during this trip. It has been reported that Chairman Lee is currently on an overseas business trip. The 'Hyungnim Meeting' between Huang and major conglomerate leaders, which took place on June 5, was attended by Chairman Chey, Koo Kwang-mo, Chairman of LG Group, and Lee Hae-jin, Founder of Naver, among others.
